​Wales’ oldest university, Aberystwyth University was voted as the best in England and Wales for student satisfaction in 2022.​ A research-led university, it recently opened its School of Nursing, and works in partnership with Hywel Dda to develop our future nursing workforce.

University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) (opens in new tab) 

Celebrating its 200th anniversary in 2022, the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) is a multi-campus university with three main campuses in south west Wales – Carmarthen, Lampeter, and Swansea. Through work-based learning, research of international excellence and knowledge transfer networks, UWTSD aims to play a pivotal role in the promotion of social justice, economic renewal and the development of social and cultural capital.

Coleg Ceredigion College (opens in new tab)

This college is a lively, vibrant and caring college that puts learners' achievement and wellbeing at the top of its agenda. It has two campuses, one in Cardigan and one in Aberystwyth. There is a wide range of courses from A-levels and apprenticeships, evening classes and degrees. Full and part-time learning is possible at the college if you are currently in employment.

The college has a huge variety of courses at different levels from GCSE to access to higher education with a number of courses available online. Part time study is also available at the college if you are currently in employment. There are also opportunities to undertake apprenticeships.

Coleg Sir Gar (opens in new tab) 

This college sits within the UWTSD Group and have five main campuses located at Llanelli (Graig), Carmarthen (Pibrlwyd and Jobs Well), Ammanford and Llandeilo (Gelli Aur). It is also home to the Carmarthen School of Art.

The college has a huge variety of courses at different levels from GCSE to access to higher education with a number of courses available online. Part time study is also available at the college if you are currently in employment. There are also opportunities to undertake apprenticeships.

This college is the largest provider of post-16 education and training. It's located on a modern, purpose built campus in Haverfordwest. There is a wide range of courses from A- levels and apprenticeships, evening classes and degrees. Full and part-time learning is possible at the college if you are currently in employment.
