This area has been developed to provide information on the local primary mental health support service (LPMHSS) in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. We aim to provide easily accessible online resources and information on mental health issues to enable people to self-help and know where to access further support should they need it.
Local Primary Mental Health Support Service (LPMHSS) is a routine service and does not deal with urgent or emergency mental health matters. For urgent help that is not an emergency you should contact your GP in the first instance who can refer you to the most appropriate mental health services. If outside GP hours you should present at the out of hours GP at accident and emergency (A&E).
Should you or someone you know require emergency assistance please dial 999.
Patients across our three counties are able to dial 111 to access your GP out of hours service and NHS Direct.
