The Health Board have established a Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Advisory Group in recognition that COVID has disproportionately affected our black, asian and minority ethnic staff.
This advisory group will report to Board, via Maria Battle, Chair of Hywel Dda University Health Board, to ensure a stronger voice and involvement within our organisation for black, asian and minority ethnic staff.
The group includes a range of staff representatives as well as officers from the Workforce and Organisational Development Team, Diversity and Inclusion Team and Chaplaincy Team. Dr Baba Gana and Dr Hashim Samir are joint vice-Chairs of the group.
