Patients with minor injuries outside the MIU opening hours and which cannot wait until the next day for treatment are advised to use the NHS Wales symptom checker online, call their GP, or call NHS 111 Wales for advice.
In the case of a medical or life-threatening emergency, for your safety you should not visit a Minor Injury Unit, you need to be seen urgently by the right service. In an emergency you should call 999 or visit an Emergency Department (A&E).
