Director of Primary Care, Community and Long Term Care

I bring a wealth of experience and organisational knowledge to my current portfolio, having been employed within the health board since its inception initially as deputy director of primary care, community, mental health and long term care before taking up the appointment of interim director  of primary care, community and therapies and health sciences in 2015, and then appointed into my current director position in 2017.

Before that, I held the position of director of nursing and deputy chief executive for Carmarthenshire Local Health Board. Prior to that I was appointed as director of nursing for Dyfed Powys Health Authority.

I am passionate about the NHS, and have maintained my strong interest in primary care and community services, and the opportunity to deliver an integrated multi-agency approach to care delivery as part of an integrated  whole system.
