A

  • Audiology clinic (opens in new tab) This waiting area is for consultations related to the management of tinnitus where you would be seen by a Specialist Audiologist. Support can be offered to understand the generation and management of tinnitus. 
  • Adult ADHD service (opens in new tab) - This waiting area facilitates assessment and review appointments for adults with ADHD. A team of professionals including Consultant, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Pharmacist and Nurses, can support you through diagnosis and treatment.

  • Bereavement counselling (opens in new tab) - This waiting area facilitates Bereavement Support Service assessments and counselling sessions. Providing a space to talk and be supported by our team of qualified Counsellors.
  • Bereavement group room (opens in new tab) - This waiting area facilitates Bereavement Support Service group counselling sessions. Providing a space to come together, talk and be supported by our team of qualified Counsellors.
  • Breast CNS clinic (opens in new tab) - This waiting area is for consultation with a Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist for End of Treatment Clinics. This clinic is for patients completing the main phase of their treatment for early breast cancer.

  • Dermatology clinic (opens in new tab) - For consultations related to skin health where you could be seen by a consultant, specialist nurse or specialty doctor. Support can be offered to understand treatment aims, manage medication needs and assist in managing the physical and psychological impact of your skin condition. 
  • Diabetes and endocrinology clinic (opens in new tab) - This waiting area is for diabetic management clinics. It is also for endocrinology clinics, covering hormone related problems (for example pituitary, thyroid and adrenal disorders).
  • Dietetics service (opens in new tab) - This waiting area provides nutritional care, support, education and advice with the aim of maximising health and well-being. Patients are assessed and monitored by Dietitians to support recovery as a core part of treatment or condition management.

  • Fracture clinic (opens in new tab) - This waiting area is for healthcare appointments related to recent attendance/presentation following a fracture or related injury.  You will be reviewed by a clinician from the Orthopaedic team and an assessment on your condition will be made as a result of discussions.

  • Haematology (opens in new tab) - Health care professionals in this video consultation wait area are responsible for the diagnosis and/or management of blood disorders. Such disorders can vary from high blood counts or low blood counts or you may have a problem with excessive bleeding or clot formation.
  • Head and neck specialist service (opens in new tab) - This waiting area is for healthcare appointments related to your head and neck cancer care treatment and recovery.

  • Memory clinic (opens in new tab) - To meet with the Memory Assessment Service professionals involved at the various stages of your assessment with the service. Professionals involved in your care can include Specialist Memory Assessment Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Consultants, Nurse Practitioners, Assistant Psychologists and Pharmacists.  
  • MHLD therapy clinic (opens in new tab) - Welcome to the therapies room. This is where you can meet your dietitian, physiotherapist, occupational therapist or speech and language therapist for your virtual appointment. 
  • MSK CMATS - Clinical Musculoskeletal assessments and treatment service (opens in new tab) - A specialist service supported by advanced practitioners to provide support for patients who have painful or functional problems associated with joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, bones and/or nerves. The team can arrange investigations and any onward referral to a surgeon, rheumatologist, pain consultant or other therapy service. 
  • Musculoskeletal service (opens in new tab) - This wait area provides outpatient physiotherapy for adults with musculoskeletal conditions. This includes treatment for common problems such as low back pain, sprains and strains.

  • Occupational therapy service (opens in new tab) - Occupational Therapists help people do the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. The Occupational Therapy Service will work with you to help prevent, recover, resolve and adapt to the difficulties you may be experiencing.  
  • Oncology (opens in new tab) - This wait area supports consultations with health care professionals, including specialist nurses, pharmacists and doctors, who are part of the Oncology Team. Oncology refers to cancer treatment that is not surgical.
  • Orthopaedics clinic (opens in new tab) - This waiting area is for healthcare appointments related to orthopaedic referral. You will be reviewed by a clinician from the Orthopaedic team where they will assess your current condition and discuss an appropriate management plan.

  • Pembrokeshire health visitors (opens in new tab) - This is a waiting room for clients with an appointment to see a member of the Health Visiting Team.
  • Perinatal clinic (opens in new tab) - This waiting area is for Perinatal consultations and interventions relating to the pre-conception, antenatal and post-natal period. You may be seen by any member of the team for a pre-arranged appointment.
  • Physiotherapy service (opens in new tab) - This wait area provides out-patient and community based physiotherapy support.  Physiotherapists both support and promote appropriate levels of independence for the patient within the community. 
  • Podiatry and orthotics (opens in new tab) - Within this waiting area your Podiatrist will support the treatment of a variety of foot and lower limb conditions which cause pain and suffering. Your Orthotist will support with making and assessing your braces, splints and prescription footwear.   
  • Psychology adult mental health clinic (opens in new tab) - The Psychology (Adult Mental Health Service) provides evidence based and formulation driven psychological interventions to help people make changes they want to their lives. Our Psychologists are trained to doctorate level and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, and we also have Assistant Psychologists working under supervision.

  • Respiratory clinic (opens in new tab) - This waiting area is for healthcare appointments related to your chest, lungs or breathing
  • Rheumatology clinic (opens in new tab) - This wait area facilitates healthcare appointments for those with a rheumatology diagnosis. Healthcare professionals provide support, helping patients to understand treatment aims and assisting in the management of the emotional and/or physical impact of this condition.

  • Therapies discharge support (opens in new tab) - This wait area facilitates healthcare appointments for patients and their concerned others to meet with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy Assistant Practitioners. The needs of the patient in the community are collaboratively considered, either post discharge or as an alternative to admission.   
  • Therapy specialist services (opens in new tab) - This waiting area supports the Neonatal Therapy Service, Speech and Language Therapy service and the Community Neurorehabilitation service. Patients can be assessed, reviewed and treated by healthcare professionals.    
  • Tier three eating disorder (opens in new tab) - This waiting area supports access to the Specialist Eating Disorder Service for scheduled healthcare appointments. We offer specialist assessment and treatment for adults with eating disorders.

  • Veterans (opens in new tab) - As part of Veterans NHS Wales, we deliver a range of evidence based psychological therapies to treat military-attributable mental health problems within Hywel Dda. Our therapists are fully trained and accredited to support you with your concerns at this time.

  • Weight management service (opens in new tab) - For weight management needs, where we use tried and tested approaches to help you make long term, positive changes to your lifestyle. These approaches are facilitated by friendly and compassionate dietitians, dietetic assistant practitioners, and clinical psychologists, with access to medical input, based on your needs.
