Flu and COVID-19 are caused by viruses that spread very easily and can cause some people to become seriously ill and die. Older people and those with certain health conditions are more at risk.
This winter, we expect flu and COVID-19 to circulate at the same time, so it is very important to get protected to reduce the risk of needing hospital care from these infections.
If you are eligible, simply drop-in to one of the following centres or if you would prefer to book an appointment, please contact the health board on 0300 303 8322 option 1 or email ask.hdd@wales.nhs.uk

In 2024, vaccination experts in the UK advised that giving the COVID-19 vaccine to those working with and caring for vulnerable people offered only limited protection to the people in their care. As a result, they do not advise including these groups in the programme.
However, in Wales, the following groups can ask for a COVID-19 vaccine if they would like one.
If you have any questions about any vaccines, please do not hesitate to contact the health board on 0300 303 8322 or by emailing ask.hdd@wales.nhs.uk and we’ll be happy to help.
