Cardiac diagnostics in Ceredigion

We are based in Bronglais Hospital. We are open from Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm. We provide pacemaker follow up services at Cardigan Integrated care Centre and Tywyn Hospital.

We provide the following service:

• Echocardiograms (Echo);
• Transoesophageal Echocardiograms (TOE);
• Contrast Echocardiograms;
• Electrocardiograms (ECG’s);
• Pacemaker and implanted cardiac devices service;
• Exercise testing for cardiac disease;
• Active stand tests;
• Cardiac CT - these tests are co-ordinated by radiology and the medical teams;
• Cardiac and blood pressure ambulatory monitoring.

Directions: Enter through the horseshoe entrance on Penglais Hill. This is further up the hill than the main car parks. The department is the second door on the right, next to the reflection room.
