How learning disability Liaison Nurses can help when you come to the hospital

They work with adults and children with a learning disability in hospital.

The nurses usually work between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

They will teach all hospital staff about how best to look after someone with a learning disability.

They will talk to you, your family and staff if you want.

They want to make sure your stay is good, this will help you get the right care to get better quickly.

Please bring your health passport when you go to hospital. If you have any specialist plans, like eating and drinking or epilepsy, bring them too.
