Abortion in UK is available up to 24 weeks of pregnancy, provided certain legal criteria are met. Abortion is available in Hywel Dda University Health Board up to 20 weeks of pregnancy. If you are 20 weeks pregnant or above, we will need to refer you to the British Pregnancy Advisory service (BPAS).
It is important to be aware that appointments with BPAS may require a journey to another part of Wales or England to access the care.
