Mental health and wellbeing

One in four of us will experience a mental health condition at some point in our lives. This page will provide you with useful resources you can access from home and organisations who can support you.

To use some mental health services, you'll need to talk to your GP. This is known as a GP referral. Your GP can also talk to you about your mental health and help introduce you to the right mental health service for your needs.

If you are in need of urgent mental health support or you are not sure where to turn to get advice and guidance on your or someone else’s mental health, call NHS 111 Wales and press 2 (opens in new tab).  In a life-threatening emergency always dial 999.

Further information is available at NHS 111 Wales - Health A-Z : Mental Health and Wellbeing (opens in new tab)
