We recognise that some individuals who need access to women’s healthcare do not identify themselves as women or girls, and we are clear that all services must be appropriate and sensitive to individual needs.
We use the terms ‘woman’ and ‘women’s health’ with the understanding that trans men and non-binary people recorded female at birth are included and may also require access to these services.
The Women’s Health Plan for Wales is the Welsh Government's ten-year vision to improve health outcomes for women in Wales.
The Plan is for all women in Wales, whatever your stage in life, and has been created to help ensure you are treated equally, are listened to, and your health needs understood.
