Our model standing orders are issued by Welsh Ministers to Local Health Boards. Local Health Boards (LHBs) in Wales must agree standing orders for the regulation of their proceedings and business.
These documents form the basis upon which our governance and accountability framework is developed and, together with the adoption of our Values and Standards of Behaviour framework, is designed to ensure the achievement of the standards of good governance set for the NHS in Wales.

Below you will find our standing financial instructions (SFIs). These SFIs detail the financial responsibilities, policies and procedures adopted by our Board. They are designed to ensure that our financial transactions are carried out in accordance with the law and with Welsh Government policy in order to achieve probity, accuracy, economy, efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability.
