Interim Chair

I am the interim chair until March 2024.

In 2016, I joined the health board as an independent member and took on the role of vice chair in January 2017.

Prior to joining Hywel Dda University Health Board as an Independent member, I was a former NHS assistant chief executive (organisational development) and an experienced human resources/workforce director. I have over 20 years experience of working at board level with various NHS bodies and nearly 40 years NHS experience across all sectors.

I retired from the NHS in December 2015 and I am currently an external assessor for the corporate health standard and a member of the Academy Wales Advisory Board.
