Chaplaincy

The service we offer is confidential and non-judgemental and is available to everyone.

We support patients, staff and visitors and respect people of all religious and cultural beliefs and genders as well as those who have no faith by working to the aim of healing your well-being effectively, looking after you with dignity, dedication and attentiveness.

We can:

  • offer worship opportunities and prayers
  • provide a listening ear
  • offer counselling support
  • be a spiritual care resource
  • provide support.

Anybody can make a referral. This includes you as the patient, staff members, relatives and friends, or members of the patient’s faith community. We will always check with the patient that he or she is happy to receive a visit.

We are committed to support all pastoral, spiritual and religious needs and support staff in providing the best care. We invite you to share any concerns or wishes so that we can get the best possible outcome.
