Bladder dysfunction

Bladder dysfunction is a term used for a range of problems associated with the way the bladder holds and releases urine. You should be able to hold good volumes of urine in your bladder, and receive calm messages to empty your bladder, make it to the toilet on time, and fully or nearly-fully empty your bladder with ease.

When one or more parts of this system doesn’t work as it should, it can feel like a difficult problem to cope with.
