We aim to give you specialist rheumatology advice about your diagnosis and treatment. This includes any medicines prescribed by our clinic.

Contacting the communications hub 

The hub is open: 

  • Monday to Friday: 9.00am – 5.00pm 
  • Saturday: 10.00am – 4.00pm 
  • Sunday and Bank Holidays: 10.00am – 3.00pm 

When you call, an advisor will log your query. If needed, a rheumatology nurse will call you back. 

This is not an emergency service.

Call us if you: 
Need more information about your condition or treatment. 

  • Have a reaction to an injection given in clinic. 
  • Think you are having a flare, and your medication is not helping. 
  • Have side effects from medicines prescribed by our clinic. 
  • Take Anti-TNF/Biologic injections or infusions and have become unwell. 

Do not call the advice line: 

  • For blood test or investigation results requested by Rheumatology (we will contact you if results are abnormal). 
  • For general advice that can wait until your next appointment
