Recognition
At Hywel Dda we recognise the amazing work of our staff, and celebrate the little things colleagues do that have a positive impact on people’s days. We encourage all teams across the Health Board to engage with colleague-to-colleague appreciation.
Awards
Our awards are our way of celebrating staff who live our shared values and enable us to recognise their fantastic contributions. Our awards include:
- Chair’s Commendation Award: These awards enable staff to nominate a colleague and aim to recognise staff that have role modelled compassion, innovation, or collaboration to an exemplary level.
- Hywel’s Applause: These awards are staff led and recognise staff for their values aligned behaviours and achievements.
- Long Service Awards: We value dedication to the service and celebrate this with staff at the key milestones of 5, 10, 25 and 40 years' of service. Incentives differ at each milestone, additional annual leave entitlement and commemorative awards form part of the package of recognition.
