Hywel Dda University Health Board (HDdUHB) has a statutory duty to take account of representations made by persons who represent the interests of the communities it serves, its officers and healthcare professionals. To help discharge this duty, the Board has appointed Advisory Groups to provide advice to the Board in the exercise of its functions.
HDdUHB’s Advisory Groups include a Stakeholder Reference Group, Healthcare Professionals’ Forum and Staff Partnership Forum. The Board’s commitment to openness and transparency in the conduct of all its business extends equally to the work carried out by others to advise it in the conduct of its business.
The Board shall ensure that the Chairs of all Advisory Groups report formally, regularly and on a timely basis to the Board on their activities. Advisory Group Chairs are Associate Members of the Board and bring to the Board’s specific attention any significant matters under consideration and report on the totality of its activities through the production of an update report or other written reports.
