Independent Member - Third Sector

I am currently the Chief Executive Officer of PLANED, a community development organisation that has been operational within Pembrokeshire for over 30 years working with partners and people nationally, regionally and locally to support communities.

Prior to joining PLANED, I was the Regional Programme Manager for the North Wales Economic Ambition Board for five years leading on their Skills and Employment portfolio.

In addition to a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, I have been fortunate to have gained over 20 years of experience from working across the third and public sectors across Wales, working in partnership with many great people, organisations and projects.

Recent voluntary posts I have been privileged to hold, include being Chair of the Board of Directors for North Wales Science; a Trustee at Theatr Clwyd; and an Advisory Board Member for the North Wales Regional Schools Consortia.

Currently, my voluntary roles include being the Vice Chair of the Board of Governors at Pembrokeshire College; one of the founding Directors of the newly established ‘Visit Pembrokeshire’ DMO; and representing PLANED on the Third Sector Partnership Council for Wales.

I am passionate about supporting people and new ideas, to make positive and sustainable changes to communities, organisations, and projects in partnership, where innovation and transparency are key factors.
