Gynaecology

We are currently holding outpatient clinics for, Routine and Urgent patients, including Urgent Suspected Cancer across all four sites within the Health Board based on clinical priority and those patients who have been waiting the longest.

We are currently only operating on Urgent patients only, including Urgent Suspected Cancer.

Pessary (for the management of a devise to support the uterus or bladder and rectum) clinics are up and running across the health board as well as colposcopy services which are running at a reduced capacity.

Public Health Wales have restarted cervical screening services.

Fertility and Endometriosis clinics are currently running virtually and face to face.

As we are currently not undertaking any routine gynaecology, all routine gynaecology patients waiting on our waiting lists are being checked they are on the right pathway for their current needs.

Future plans

Validation and prioritisation of all routine and urgent patients on our waiting list.
