Child Autism

Group of children lying on the grass

Our team of specialist practitioners from a number of different professions includes a clinical psychologist, psychiatrist, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, specialist nurses and specialist neuro-divergent support workers. The team is supported by community paediatricians.

We work with children and young people aged two years to 17 years and nine months who live in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.

Please note we are not an emergency service.

If there are concerns about a child’s mental health and you are worried about their immediate safety due to self-harm or suicide, contact 999 or take the child to A&E. Alternatively you can speak to your child’s GP.

If you have concerns about your child’s behaviour and are finding aspects of this challenging, please contact your local Information, Advice and Assistance service. They will signpost you to a range of organisations that offer advice and support.
