About our appeal

One in two people in Wales will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lifetime. Every week, over 60 people a week from across Ceredigion, south Gwynedd and north Powys receive vital anti-cancer treatment at Bronglais Hospital.

There is an excellent standard of care provided at the current unit. However, it has long been recognised that the physical environment of the unit was not originally designed for delivering modern anti-cancer treatment.

Thanks to the generosity of our local communities, we have already secured £1.7m of the £2.2m required to build a new chemotherapy unit at Bronglais.

We now need your help to raise the remaining £500,000. This will enable us to transform the current unit into a modern, fit-for-the-future facility which will vastly improve patient experience.

Note: Once the Bronglais Chemo Appeal has reached its target of £500,000 any surplus funds will be used to support those affected by cancer across Ceredigion.
