If you are between six - 13 weeks and six days pregnant, have had a positive pregnancy test and you experience:

abdominal pain
vaginal bleeding
previous tubal surgery
previous ectopic pregnancy
previous DVT or PE
have type 1 or type 2 diabetes
currently have a coil in place
previous molar pregnancy
more than two previous miscarriages
three previous caesarean births

Heavy bleeding (changing two to three pads an hour which are soaked through), or pass a clot the size of half a fist, or have pain that does not go away with paracetamol:
