Many community pharmacies can provide free NHS flu vaccinations for patients who are 18 and over. You must be in an eligible group. The pharmacy will tell you how and when you can book your vaccination. These are available each year in during Autumn and Winter.
Children under 18 years old cannot get a flu vaccination at a pharmacy. They may be able to access it from their school or GP surgery.
Health and social care workers working in care homes or domiciliary care settings can get an NHS flu vaccine from a community pharmacy. You do not need to present your ID at a pharmacy. However, if your employer can provide you with a letter identifying you as a social care worker it may make things easier.
Covid vaccinations may also be available from your local Pharmacy. Please check with them directly.
