This is a specialist primary care psychology service for patients registered with a GP practice within the Tywi Taf Cluster. It provides psychological assessment and evidence-based support for women experiencing emotional and psychological difficulties associated with menopause or PMDD. These difficulties can include anxiety, low mood, stress, reduced self-esteem, relationship difficulties, brain fog, fatigue, hot flushes and night sweats.

The service was developed to address the need for specialist psychological support within women's health services. It also aims to improve emotional wellbeing and quality of life.
Support is delivered through Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) group programmes. Patients attend a one-off assessment appointment before joining either a seven-session menopause group or an eight-session PMDD group. Sessions are held weekly, last 90 minutes, and are delivered remotely via Microsoft Teams.
