Rapid access lung clinic

You will be referred to the respiratory team if there is a concern about the patient’s health such as weight loss, cough, breathlessness or an abnormal chest x-ray. You can be referred to the clinic by a GP or other health professional in order to investigate, diagnose and treat patients as quickly as possible.

The team understand that this is a very worrying time and that patients will be anxious to have their investigations as soon as possible. With this in mind, the respiratory team have set up Rapid Access Clinics in Prince Philip Hospital and Withybush Hospital where patients can have most of their investigations done on the same day.
