NHS pension
The NHS pension scheme continues to be one of the most comprehensive schemes available in the UK. Membership of the scheme is automatic when you join us and as your employer, we pay a contribution to your pension equal to 14.3% of your salary. 

Annual leave
At Hywel Dda we offer our staff a generous 28 days of annual leave (pro rata) plus eight bank holidays. This increases to 30 days after five years service and 34 days after ten years service.

Child care
Hywel Dda is proud to have a crèche on, or within walking distance of, each of our acute hospital sites. You can get up to £500 every three months for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare. Sign up to tax free childcare on the government website here (opens in new tab).
