Education and development department
Hywel Dda are committed to the development of all our staff. The education and development team recognise we all learn differently and are keen to support your development needs. This could include management training, employability skills, job specific training, personal development and much more!

Libraries
Hywel Dda has a library on each acute hospital site. Each library has a dedicated library manager along with assistant and offers study spaces, printing, silent study areas and books/journals. Librarian expertise and knowledge can help to increase your ability to find, search and retrieve, navigate, organise and evaluate evidence for study.

Lifelong Learning
The health board can offer you up to £100 to attend a course of your choice that is not work related. This could be anything from learning how to plaster walls to learning a new language.
