Independent Member - Information Technology

I have worked in the ICT industry for 42 years, 28 of these have been in the NHS in Wales.

Prior to retiring from full time employment I spent eight years working for the NHS Wales Informatics Service in a variety of roles particularly in areas concerned with ensuring the quality of systems being developed or purchased for use in NHS Wales. I also have a considerable amount of experience with managing operational ICT services and contributing to the development of the NHS Wales ICT strategies.

My interest in computers extends back to my school days when I was one of the first in the UK to study computer science at A-level. 

In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my family especially my grandchildren. I am also a keen amateur photographer and organise a team of volunteers for the audio system in the church I attend.
