The Local Primary Mental Health Support Service (LPMHSS) in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire is a service for people with common, mild to moderate mental health problems such as anxiety, depression and or stress.  The service is available in the community and can only be accessed by a referral from your GP practice and/or other mental health professionals.

The Local Primary Mental Health Support Service is not a crisis service and not designed for people requiring urgent assistance. If you require urgent assistance that is not an emergency you should contact your GP in the first instance who can refer you to the most appropriate mental health services.  If outside GP hours, you should present at the out of hours GP at Accident and Emergency.  Should you require emergency assistance please dial 999. 

 We offer a variety of services including mental health assessments and advice, support and signposting to other relevant services, stress management courses and a range of psychological interventions.
