Booking appointments take around an hour to complete. This will be done either over the phone or in person with your community midwife. They will call and arrange a suitable time for you.
The community midwife will ask you a range of questions about your health, lifestyle and what screening tests you would like to have during your pregnancy. Please be prepared to answer the following:
Your community midwife will then advise you what happens next, when they will take screening tests, and when you might expect to hear about your dating scan.
