Bowel dysfunction

Bowel dysfunction is a term used to refer to a range of problems associated with the inability to control bowel movements (having a poo).  It includes problems associated with the frequency and consistency of bowel movements. Normal bowel habits vary from person to person. You may have your bowels open more than once a day or just a few times a week.
