People eligible for the flu and/or COVID-19 vaccine are being strongly encouraged by Hywel Dda University Health Board (UHB) to receive theirs as soon as possible as viral respiratory illnesses circulate local communities and hospitals.
Flu and COVID-19 are caused by viruses that spread very easily and can cause some people to become seriously ill. Older people and young children, as well as those with certain health conditions are more at risk.
To find out if you are eligible for the flu and/or COVID-19 vaccine, visit https://phw.nhs.wales/topics/immunisation-and-vaccines/flu-vaccine-and-covid-19-autumn-vaccine (opens in new tab) or contact the health board on 0300 303 8322 option 1 or ask.hdd@wales.nhs.uk.
If you are eligible, simply drop-in to one of the following centres or if you would prefer to book an appointment, please contact the health board on the details above.
The nasal spray flu vaccine will also be available for children aged 2 (on 31 August 2024) to sixteen.
