Annual Their Love Still Shines online service announced

The annual Their Love Still Shines service will be held as a virtual memorial service this year at 6.30pm on Monday 30 November 2020.

Hywel Dda University Health Board’s Spiritual Care Department along with the Ty Cymorth Fund Raising Committee host an annual ‘Their Love Still Shines’ Service at the National Botanic Gardens, Llanarthne.

Euryl Howells, Senior Chaplain at Hywel Dda UHB, said: “November is the month of remembering.  Memories are warm and comforting – they may fill us with joy, or they may be filled with sadness, sorrow and regret.

“The ceremony will offer space and time to remember. Sadly it's not possible to gather together but the hope is that this virtual memorial service filmed in view of the grounds of Ty Cymorth will bring some solace to those who are grieving, and remind you that you are not alone, that others walk alongside you even from a distance.”

You may like to have a candle to light during our act of remembrance, a small stone to hold and have a photograph of your loved one.  The service with multi-faith readings, reflection time and instrumental music will have the ceremonial lighting of the Remembrance Tree – the Tree of Hope.

If you wish to dedicate a light or send a message of hope can do so Loved.Forever.HDD@wales.nhs.uk
