Norovirus (diarrhoea and vomiting) is circulating in our communities. Norovirus can be treated at home with hydration and rest. If you have symptoms of norovirus, please stay home for 48 hours after they clear.

What is norovirus?

The main symptoms of Norovirus are vomiting and diarrhoea. Other symptoms include:

  • Mild fever
  • Headaches
  • Stomach cramps
  • Aching limbs
How to avoid catching norovirus:

Do:

  • Wash your hands regularly with soap and water
  • Keep household surface clean

Don’t:

  • Share towels, flannels or toothbrushes
  • Eat raw or unwashed food
