Update 27 October 2021: We have made the difficult decision to pause all walk-ins to ensure the safety of our vaccination staff, centres and surrounding highways. We will however continue to receive walk-ins from 12-15 year olds during the half term week. Your safety is of utmost importance to us, and we are working on the best way forward to deliver walk-in vaccinations alongside appointments. We kindly ask people to not contact the health board or their GP practice at this time to ask about the booster vaccine.

People living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion or Pembrokeshire who are eligible for a COVID-19 booster vaccination can now walk-in to any Hywel Dda UHB mass vaccination centre, no appointment needed.
You are eligible for a booster vaccine if the following apply to you:
The health board will also continue to write to people directly to offer them an appointment for their booster vaccine at a mass vaccination centre.
We continue to offer second doses to people who are eligible and we are still open for first doses for anyone who wish to have their first vaccine.
Bethan Lewis, Interim Assistant Director of Public Health at Hywel Dda UHB, said: “We want to make it as simple as possible for people to access their COVID-19 booster vaccine and I’m really pleased to say that thanks to the efforts of our vaccination staff across the three counties, that we can now make walk-ins possible for anyone due their booster.
“Like some other vaccines, levels of protection may begin to wane over time. This booster dose will help extend the protection you gained from your first two doses and give you longer term protection so it is important to come forward if you are eligible.
“We understand that we are asking some people to attend a mass vaccination centre for the first time. Our centres provide a safe environment, space to maintain social distancing while allowing more people to be vaccinated as efficiently and as quickly as possible.
“Primary care colleagues are currently focused on delivering the annual flu vaccine so it is vital that anyone due a booster makes every effort to attend their nearest mass vaccination centre. Anyone who genuinely is unable to travel to a centre is asked to wait for an appointment letter and call the number on the letter for transport support.”
If you are eligible for a booster, or are aged 16 and over and wish to have your first or second vaccine if you are over 18, you are welcome to walk-in to any of the following mass vaccination centres, no appointment needed:
