Accessing our services when visiting Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire

Summer 2025

Are you visiting our region on holiday? You have made a great choice and we hope you’re having a wonderful time. But if you need medical attention, do you know who can help and where to go?

Unwell and unsure what to do?

NHS 111 Wales is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and offers guidance and care for non-emergency medical problems.

The NHS 111 Wales website (opens in new tab) includes more than 65 symptom checkers and information about local services, and should be everyone’s first port of call before making a phone call.

Please only call the NHS 111 Wales service (by dialling 111) if your health concern is urgent or you are directed to by the online symptom checker. This will help patients to get the right support and guidance in the right place at the right time.

  • Insect bites

  • Minor limb, head, or face injuries

We have minor injury or walk-in services at Cardigan Integrated Care Centre, Tenby Hospital as well as at our main acute hospitals. For opening hours and journey planners, please check our minor injury unit page (opens in new tab)
